Magic Kingdom is changing the clock on Happily Ever After twice this fall. The fireworks move to 9 p.m. on non-party nights beginning October 5, 2026, then step forward to 8 p.m. beginning November 1.
Of course Cinderella Castle has its own seasonal schedule drama. The October time belongs only to regular park nights; Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party evenings keep their separate entertainment lineup. Same castle, entirely different bedtime.
October waits until 9 p.m.
Disney Food Blog reports that the 9 p.m. time begins October 5 on nights when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not taking place. Happily Ever After is not moving into the party. It remains the nighttime spectacular for regular Magic Kingdom evenings.
The dinner calendar is where this little clock change grows teeth. A reservation chosen around an earlier fireworks time may now overlap the 9 p.m. show or leave less room to reach a preferred viewing area. We would give any October 5-or-later meal planned around Happily Ever After a second look; the castle will not hold the finale while the check arrives.
November pulls the finale forward
Beginning November 1, Happily Ever After moves to 8 p.m. That is a full hour earlier than the new October time, so a dining plan that works beautifully on October 31 may feel rather less enchanted the following night.
Disney Food Blog does not report how long the 8 p.m. schedule will last, and neither time should be treated as permanent. October's 9 p.m. slot and November's 8 p.m. slot are confirmed; anything beyond the posted calendar still belongs in pencil, preferably one with an eraser shaped like Mickey ears.
