Magic Kingdom’s Extended Evening Hours return Wednesday, January 6, 2027, from 9 to 11 p.m. for eligible Deluxe Resort and select-hotel guests. The park has not hosted the perk since September 9, 2026.
The very Magic Kingdom flex is the scale: 23 scheduled attractions, from TRON Lightcycle / Run to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, packed into one two-hour block. After months of Wednesday nights shifting elsewhere, the castle park is bringing back its broadest late-night lineup.
The castle park gets its Wednesday slot back
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has carried most Wednesday Extended Evening Hours since September 16, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom picked up dates on August 26, September 2, and October 20. Magic Kingdom’s break overlapped the Halloween and Christmas party season, when separately ticketed events occupied many evenings.
January 6 puts Magic Kingdom back into the Wednesday rotation after those party-heavy months. Disney has confirmed that Extended Evening Hours continues through 2027, but the accessible WDWMAGIC report specifically confirms January 6 from 9 to 11 p.m.; it does not provide a complete 2027 calendar.
Eligible guests are those registered at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, or Swan Reserve, Shades of Green, and other select hotels covered by the benefit. Entry requires valid park admission plus a MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card.
Twenty-three attractions, with one important asterisk
The scheduled lineup is “it’s a small world,” Astro Orbiter, The Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Country Bear Musical Jamboree, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Haunted Mansion, Mad Tea Party, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tomorrowland Speedway, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
That is a wonderfully odd Magic Kingdom mix: two headliner coasters, a haunted house, a bear band, and a room full of singing birds all sharing the same after-hours bill. Select food, beverage, and merchandise locations are also scheduled to open.
The roster is generous, but it is still a scheduled lineup, not a promise that every attraction will operate for the full two hours. WDWMAGIC says attractions are subject to change and recommends checking My Disney Experience. January 6 is the date we would circle; the published report does not map every Wednesday that follows.
