These terms explain how Rope Drop Hero works, what you can expect, and where the boundaries sit.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rope Drop Hero, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Rope Drop Hero, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create your own Rope Drop Hero account. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Parents or guardians may create accounts on behalf of their families to use the trip planning and coordination features. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal mobile device solely for your personal, non-commercial use. The App is licensed, not sold.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

4.1 Subscription Tiers

  • Free: Live wait times, Park Ranger, crowd context, and basic Quest Builder access.
  • Adventurer ($9.99/month or $59.99/year): Live Lightning Lane availability, 20 Dining Scout watches with push alerts and guest-completed booking handoff, and planning for groups up to 6. It does not include Lightning Lane watches or alerts.
  • Hero ($29.99/month or $99.99/year): 10 Lightning Lane watches with alerts and eligible auto-book and auto-modify behavior, 50 Dining Scout watches, and planning for groups up to 8.
  • Starlight Concierge ($49.99/month or $199.99/year): Unlimited Lightning Lane and Dining Scout watches, protected-day decision support within guest permissions, and planning for groups up to 12.

4.2 Auto-Renewal and Billing

Subscriptions are auto-renewing on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Billing is handled by the store where you purchased the subscription, either the Apple App Store or Google Play. You will be charged the subscription price applicable at the time of renewal.

For Apple App Store purchases, request refunds through Apple. For Google Play purchases, you may request a refund through Google Play or contact us at support@ropedrophero.com. We review Google Play refund requests case by case and do not offer an additional money-back guarantee. Refund eligibility is subject to applicable law and the applicable store policies; nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable law. Canceling renewal does not by itself issue a refund.

4.3 Trials and Introductory Offers

Any trial or introductory offer, including eligibility, duration, and the price after the offer ends, is shown by the applicable store at purchase. If you do not want a trial to renew, cancel an Apple App Store trial at least 24 hours before it ends, or a Google Play trial before it expires. For other introductory offers, follow the cancellation deadline shown by the store. Unless you cancel in time, the subscription renews at the price and billing interval disclosed at purchase.

4.4 Accounts and Group Features

Free accounts do not require a paid subscription. Paid features require the applicable subscription entitlement. Creating or joining a trip-planning group does not itself give other group members access to your paid subscription. Any store-supported Family Sharing or group-purchase availability is governed by the offer shown by the applicable store.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to your subscription, or earlier where a longer notice period is required by the applicable store or law. Price changes follow the applicable store's notice and consent procedures, including obtaining your consent where required. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

You can cancel through Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions, using the store account that made the purchase. Follow the cancellation deadline shown by that store. Deleting your Rope Drop Hero account or uninstalling the App does not cancel store billing.

5. Use of the Service

The Service is designed to help you plan your visit. You agree to use the Service in compliance with park rules, applicable laws, and these Terms.

  • Do not use the App to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users or anyone else.
  • Do not interfere with the operation of the App or its servers.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or user accounts.
  • Do not scrape, spider, or automate the collection of data from the App without authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and all content within it, including text, graphics, logos, source code, object code, algorithms, and software, are the exclusive property of Rope Drop Hero, LLC or its licensors. All intellectual property rights are reserved.

You retain all rights to any user-generated content you create within the App. By submitting such content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for purposes of providing and improving the App.

Upload only content you own or have permission to use. We respond to copyright complaints and may remove or disable access to infringing material. We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Send copyright complaints to legal@ropedrophero.com. Include your contact details and signature, identify the copyrighted work and the material to be removed, and provide enough information for us to find it. For a private party avatar, identify the account or party and the approximate time you saw it; do not send passwords or private access tokens.

Include a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law, and that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act for the rights owner. If material is removed in error, contact the same address for the counter-notice process. Knowingly false infringement allegations or counter-notices may create liability.

Attraction image credits

The attraction images below are generated illustrations based on independently photographed venue references or written venue descriptions, or self-hosted copies of the credited photographs, as noted. Source photographs are licensed under CC BY 2.0, CC BY 3.0, CC BY-SA 2.0, CC BY-SA 3.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, dedicated under CC0, or marked public domain on the credited source page. Adapted images credited under CC BY-SA below are distributed under their respective source licenses; those licenses apply to the images, not the App. Generated images change lighting, composition, and details; they are illustrations, not documentary photographs or official Disney images. A photographer’s license covers that photographer’s contribution and does not grant rights to Disney’s underlying characters, marks, or attraction designs.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of wait time data, crowd predictions, Lightning Lane availability, dining reservations, park hours, show schedules, or other information provided by the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, violation of applicable law, unlawful use of the App, or user-generated content you submit.

9. Termination

You may request account deletion through the App settings. Cancel any active subscription through the store where you purchased it; deleting your account does not itself cancel store billing. The Company may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful or harmful conduct, abuse the App's features or systems, or fail to comply with company policies.

10. Payment Authorization

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the store where you make the purchase to charge your designated payment method for the subscription price and any applicable taxes. You are responsible for maintaining accurate payment information in that store account.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with and relies on third-party services including Apple WeatherKit, OpenAI, Supabase, and Walt Disney World park data sources. These services are provided by third parties and subject to their own terms and conditions.

Weather Information

Weather shown in the App comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit) or, when it is unavailable, Open-Meteo, and is credited where it appears. WEATHER DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. Do not rely on the App for emergency or safety decisions; follow official alerts and park guidance.

Disney Friends & Family Delegation

The App may use Disney's Friends & Family authorization system to access permissions for Lightning Lanes, dining reservations, and itinerary management. You maintain control over what permissions you grant and can revoke access anytime through Disney's system. We do not store your Disney passwords.

Lightning Lane Reservation Cancellation

When you confirm a Lightning Lane cancellation in the App, the request applies to the full booked party shown on the confirmation screen. A cancellation is complete only after Disney confirms the result. If the result cannot be confirmed, check your Disney itinerary before taking further action. Cancelling does not guarantee that the same or another return window will be available to book. Related watches and automation may be paused after a confirmed cancellation.

Cancelling a Lightning Lane reservation does not cancel your Rope Drop Hero subscription or request a refund for a Disney ticket or pass. Manage subscription renewal through the store where you purchased it, as described in section 4. Disney controls its ticket and pass refund policies.

12. Mobile Platforms

The App may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play. By using a store version of the App, you agree to the applicable terms of that store. Availability may vary by platform and region.

13. Data Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App.

15. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us at legal@ropedrophero.com. If informal resolution is not successful, you may pursue legal action in accordance with Section 14 above.
