Yachtsman Steakhouse reopened at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort on August 28 after its refurbishment, bringing back its dining room with two new entrées: a 10-ounce American Wagyu New York strip steak for $83 and black garlic fettuccine for $38.

The strip comes with a loaded baked potato and brandy-peppercorn sauce. The fettuccine is house-made, with seared baby squash, heirloom cherry tomatoes, mushroom conserva, and creamy black garlic sauce.

The steak is exactly the sort of serious order Yachtsman should be making. The pasta is the quieter little flex. It gives the table a real alternative to beef without wandering off into a token menu corner, and black garlic is not a timid choice for a resort steakhouse.

WDWNT also reports a carpeted accessible ramp and the return of the restaurant’s blue benches and burgundy chairs. The outlet did not report a larger redesign or other new menu changes.

Yachtsman is back in the Crescent Lake dinner rotation. The two new dishes are confirmed; current reservations, the wider menu, and dietary details still belong with Disney’s dining page before anyone makes the evening out of a single plate of fettuccine.
