Sanaa’s cleverest morning move isn’t another variation on bread service. It’s a small bit of breakfast alchemy: the table-service restaurant quietly becomes the quick-service breakfast location Kidani otherwise lacks, while keeping the savanna-facing room that makes Sanaa unmistakably Sanaa.
The menu reaches well beyond Mickey waffles
The reported Kuamsha specials include Short Rib Hash with Spice Route home fries and avocado crema; a breakfast sandwich on a house-made naan bun; avocado toast with smoked pastrami salmon, tomato chutney, and pumpkin suya; and a plant-based Breakfast Power Bowl with ancient grains, berries, vegan açaí yogurt, and caramelized pumpkin seeds.
Banana Bread French Toast arrives with caramel sauce, banana slices, toasted pecans, whipped vanilla cream, and raspberry sauce. Sanaa clearly did not interpret “counter service” as permission to roll out a beige continental tray.
