Refreshed rooms are now showing their updated look at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, with new colors, flooring, curtains, upholstery, furniture details, and Disney artwork.
The encouraging part is that the update did not sand all the Pop Century out of Pop Century. This is the resort with giant yo-yos, bowling pins, and Rubik’s Cubes outside. A room with sky-blue walls, warm wood, orange accents, a geometric rug, and a cheerful little run of Mickey color is a much better fit than a cautious hotel room that could be anywhere.

The newer look includes sky-blue walls near the bed and bathroom, refreshed flooring in a wood tone, a blue, gray, green, and orange geometric rug, updated curtain fabric, and refreshed chair upholstery. The room’s bold Mickey portraits and familiar Pluto pull-down-bed artwork remain part of the visual mix.
That balance is why this one works. The original room overhaul already established the practical layout. The new layer brings back a little of the resort’s personality through color and pattern instead of pretending the room needs a completely different identity.
The bathroom remains largely familiar, with the blue carried into the vanity area. Disney’s listed amenities include a beverage cooler, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe, iron, and ironing board. Preferred rooms are still about being nearer Classic Hall and the resort’s central amenities, rather than a more elaborate room behind the door.
Pop Century’s Skyliner access is a big reason it stays in the Value Resort conversation. The refreshed room does not change that argument. It simply makes the room itself feel more connected to the colorful, loud-in-the-best-way resort it belongs to.
