Friday, September 11 is now sold out for the 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom.

The newly unavailable date is the second Friday in September to sell out, following Halloween night on October 31. That leaves fewer Friday choices for guests trying to match a party ticket with a fall Walt Disney World stay, especially for trips built around a weekend arrival.

Key details

  • Newly sold-out date: Friday, September 11, 2026
  • Event: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
  • Location: Magic Kingdom
  • Earlier sellout: October 31 was the first 2026 party date to sell out
  • Remaining Fridays reported available: September 18 and September 25

Why the September sellout matters

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is separately ticketed, so a regular Magic Kingdom admission ticket does not provide entry for the evening event. The party also changes the park's daytime operating rhythm: Magic Kingdom typically closes earlier to day guests on party nights.

That makes ticket availability a real planning detail, not just a calendar note. Guests who want the party's parade, fireworks, character experiences, trick-or-treating, and lower-capacity evening atmosphere need both the right date and a ticket before that date fills.

With September 11 now gone, half of September's Friday party dates are unavailable. That can be especially relevant for guests who prefer Friday travel patterns or who are trying to make one party night the centerpiece of a short fall trip.

Remaining dates and published prices

At the time of WDWNT's August 13 report, remaining ticketed party dates included Sunday, August 23 for $139; Friday, August 28 for $149; Sunday, September 13 for $159; Friday, September 18 for $169; Friday, September 25 for $179; Friday, October 2 for $199; Friday, October 16 for $219; Friday, October 23 for $224; and Tuesday, October 27 for $224.

Other dates remained available as well, but special-event inventory and pricing can change without much warning. The published list should be treated as a snapshot rather than a promise of availability.

A practical way to read the calendar

If September 11 was your preferred party night, look first at Sunday, September 13 or Friday, September 18. They are not identical substitutes—one may fit better with a resort check-in, a rest day, or a later flight—but both preserve the same early-fall event window.

For guests who have not yet bought tickets, it is worth choosing the party date before locking in a Magic Kingdom-heavy itinerary. Party evenings shorten the standard daytime schedule, while a non-party night may be better for guests who want a full day in the park without purchasing a separate event ticket.

There is no evidence that every remaining date will sell out, and there is no need to treat this as an emergency. It is simply a useful signal: the calendar is beginning to tighten, particularly on fall Fridays.
