Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Is Now Bookable for Everyone

Lakeshore Lodge has opened its reservation book, and the Brother Bear Lake Houses are only the beginning of this very wide room chart.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opened reservations to all guests on October 8, 2026, for stays beginning with the resort’s July 1, 2027 opening. The 967-room resort sits on Bay Lake between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

And yes, the freestanding Brother Bear Lake Houses are going to collect the glamour shots. The more interesting booking story is the range behind them: Disney has built a room chart that stretches from Encanto-inspired duo studios for two all the way to Fantasia-themed three-bedroom grand villas for 12. That is not one lodge room wearing six different names.

The room chart deserves a careful look

Reservations are available online through Disney or by phone at (407) 934-7639. The lineup includes resort studios, duo studios, deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, three-bedroom grand villas, and waterfront Lake Houses.

Those Lake Houses are freestanding A-frames directly on Bay Lake, themed to Brother Bear, with configurations that sleep five or eight. They are the unmistakable showpieces, but the theming changes with the room category; this is not merely a square-footage ladder under one leafy roofline. We would choose the room category before falling for the view.

That caution is doing useful work because WDWMAGIC reports that price and availability change by room type, view, and date. Its October 8 report does not provide a representative rate grid, so there is no honest single “Lakeshore costs this much” number to wave around.

Bay Lake is part of the decision

Lakeshore Lodge will have direct boat transportation to Magic Kingdom. The Wetlands recreation area is planned with the zero-entry Lakeside Lagoon pool, a spiral waterslide, the Daydream River lazy river, two children’s play areas, and Perspective Pond, a leisure pool with Magic Kingdom fireworks views.

The Daydream River is the detail we would circle: a lazy river is a much more particular promise than another handsome pool deck, especially at a resort with room types built for parties of two through 12.

Dining is also planned across five named venues: Moonglade, a lakefront table-service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, a quick-service marketplace; Paint Out Point Bar & Grill; Branch & Brush cocktail lounge; and Dandelion Terrace fireworks lounge. Menus, prices, and operating details are not part of the October 8 booking report, so those names should stay in the intriguing column for now.

The reservation book is open, but the clean comparison still depends on the dates, room, and view Disney returns for a specific search. Lakeshore has finally moved from concept-art crush to bookable resort; it has not become one-price-fits-all.
