EPCOT’s first two 2027 festivals finally have dates. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run January 15 through March 1, and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will follow from March 10 through May 31.
Our calendars just perked right up, because EPCOT has left exactly eight festival-free dates between the two. March 2–9 is the tiny backstage costume change: paintbrushes and Disney on Broadway bow out, then topiaries, Outdoor Kitchens, and Garden Rocks sweep in. If your trip can slide by a week, that is not a decorative little date detail—it changes the entire personality of your EPCOT day.
Festival of the Arts is bringing Lorcana energy
Festival of the Arts returns with more than 20 Food Studios, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, Animation Academy, the giant paint-by-number mural, artful photo locations, working artists, and festival merchandise. It is the EPCOT festival for anyone who wants lunch to share a sidewalk with a Broadway belt and a guest-painted mural, which remains a wonderfully specific kind of chaos.
Disney Lorcana is getting a proper festival moment, too. Disney has confirmed festival-only promo items and gifts with purchase, plus Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, Collection Quest, and the Illumineer’s Lounge. Lorcana people, we see you already reorganizing the park bag.
The boundary is important: Disney has not revealed the exact promo items, purchase thresholds, quantities, operating dates, or participation rules. “Festival-only” is exciting; it is not yet a guarantee that a particular card or gift will be waiting when you arrive.
Disney on Broadway performances are planned several times each evening at America Gardens Theatre, with a new pair of performers rotating in every two weeks. Concert admission is included with EPCOT admission, and seating is first-come, first-served. Dining packages will offer guaranteed seating later, but the performer lineup, participating restaurants, prices, booking date, and reservation availability are still behind the curtain.
And those more than 20 Food Studios? That gives us scale, not snacks. Disney has not announced the individual studio names, dishes, prices, opening schedules, or allergy details, so nobody gets to crown a must-order dish quite yet.
Then the topiaries take the keys
Flower & Garden arrives March 10 with character topiaries, gardens and exhibits, Outdoor Kitchens, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series at America Gardens Theatre. Going from Lorcana quests and Broadway vocals to horticulture and outdoor rock shows in eight days is peak EPCOT, and honestly, we adore the range.
Garden Rocks will mix touring artists with Orlando-area performers. General seating is included with EPCOT admission on a first-come, first-served basis, and dining packages will return with guaranteed seating. The act-by-act schedule, package restaurants, prices, and reservation date have not been announced.
The Outdoor Kitchens will serve returning favorites and new dishes, but Disney stopped just before the menu reveal. There is no kitchen list, pricing, or Foodie Guide release date yet, so for now the topiaries have the dates and the snacks are keeping their secrets.
