Disney World’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks Are Working Three Different Clocks

Magic Kingdom gets four Fantasy in the Sky shows, while EPCOT and Hollywood Studios keep midnight on their own very specific clocks.

Walt Disney World has released its 2026 New Year’s Eve fireworks schedule, with Magic Kingdom running Fantasy in the Sky at 6:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. on both December 30 and 31. EPCOT will show Luminous The Symphony of Us at 6:30 p.m. and Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration at 11:54 p.m. on December 31, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios starts its New Year Countdown Fireworks at 11:57 p.m. that night.

We love that Disney has given each park a different clock instead of photocopying one midnight plan across the property. Magic Kingdom gets the rare luxury of a second night; EPCOT makes room for Luminous and a countdown; Hollywood Studios waits until the final three minutes.

Magic Kingdom gets a whole extra night

Fantasy in the Sky has four showtimes across December 30 and 31: 6:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. each night. That December 30 repeat is the schedule’s most useful little surprise. It gives guests a chance to see Magic Kingdom’s New Year presentation without making December 31 their only option.

The 6:30 p.m. performance is also a real choice, not a preview noted in tiny type. Guests who want the holiday-scale fireworks without staying for the late show can choose it on either night. The 11:50 p.m. performance is the one positioned to carry the park into the countdown.

December 30 may be the more appealing pressure valve, but the source does not promise a quiet park or publish a capacity forecast. A second night creates flexibility; it does not turn New Year’s week into a sleepy Wednesday.

EPCOT and Hollywood Studios keep their own rhythm

EPCOT’s December 31 schedule is a double feature. Luminous The Symphony of Us moves to 6:30 p.m., then Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration begins at 11:54 p.m. The early Luminous time is easy to overlook, and it is exactly the kind of schedule change that can surprise anyone working from the park’s usual evening rhythm.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has one listed fireworks time: 11:57 p.m. on December 31 for New Year Countdown Fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Three minutes before midnight is gloriously direct. The released schedule does not list a New Year’s fireworks show for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Those three minutes between EPCOT’s 11:54 p.m. start and Hollywood Studios’ 11:57 p.m. start are a lovely bit of park personality, not a park-hopping challenge. Pick the show before the night, arrive well ahead of it, and leave room for a slow exit, because WDWMAGIC’s report does not spell out capacity procedures, transportation extensions, or viewing-area rules. The fireworks clock is confirmed; the rest of the night still needs the official day-of details.
